Tu B’Shvat is the birthday of the trees and all things living, and we will be celebrating it by eating special fruits and talking about their importance!

Last week’s event at Pizza Pros was an AWESOME way to start a new semester. Thanks to everyone who came to the event including Aleza Alpert, our Birthright coordinator! We hope to see as many of you as possible getting accepted onto a Birthright trip! Contact israelatniu@gmail.com with questions regarding Birthright.

HOWEVER, this does not mean that services are not available…they will be in the Holmes Student Center for those staying on campus. So, in honor of the holiday we will have a pre-Rosh Hashanah celebration…this will include a Challah bake, dipping of apples and honey, and much more.
Food: Cold cuts, bread, condiments, chips, drinks, apples, honey, ingredients for challah.

We will be having a BBQ at the AEPi house at 823 Greenbrier on Greek Row. After schmoozing a bit with everyone…we will offer tours to the Hillel building, which is right across the street. Each new member will receive a flyer/schedule/postcard or some sort or handout that will have dates of upcoming events. Hope to see you there!
