Hillel is the largest Jewish campus organization in the world and is the foundation for Jewish campus life. Over 500 colleges and universities celebrate their Jewish identity through its global network of regional centers, campus foundations, and Hillel student organizations. Hillel’s mission is to enrich the lives of Jewish undergraduates and graduate students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world. Since 1923 Hillel has contributed to the success of the Jewish community by creating a welcoming campus environment. Our mission at NIU is to strengthen the Jewish community on campus and provide an inclusive atmosphere that will foster each individual’s beliefs.
