President: Ashley Rifkin Ashley is currently a senior nursing major at NIU from Northbrook, IL. She will graduate this year and wishes to pursue a career in the field of Neonatal Nursing. Ashley has been an active member of Hillel during the past few years, as Judaism has always been a very important aspect of her life. She is also a member of the University Honor’s program, Student Nurse’s Organization, and Mortarboard Senior Honor Society, Ashley enjoys reading, cooking/baking, shopping, hanging out with friends, and spending time in the beautiful city of Chicago during her free time. Oh, and in case you’re wondering….her heart lies with the Cubs.

Danielle Baich Hi! My name is Danielle Baich, and I am from Buffalo Grove, Illinois. I’ll be a sophomore this year majoring in international relations and minoring in art. I serve as Hillel’s new JCRC Israel Intern, and am very excited to become more involved in Hillel this year! I am very involved in my Jewish community back home, and try to go to Israel every chance I get! I also love photography, ceramics, and music! Feel free to contact me with any questions you have about traveling to Israel while in college, programs available, or just about Israel in general.
